From News Radio 1140 WRVA...

Very preliminary from the NWS Wakefield with attached note from Warning Coordination Meteorologist Bill Sammler:

"Attached is a first draft of the scenario we anticipate for the Wednesday/Thursday storm. Yes, this is a complicated event, and thus the collage of colors. The labels for the various colors apply to all localities within that color. As you can see, we have been deliberately vague because there remains considerable uncertainty with regard to storm track, intensity, and therefore precipitation type. The areas shaded in light green and dark blue are the areas for which we have the most confidence. Snow accumulations greater than 4 inches will be possible with this storm, especially areas west of I-95, and those areas that receive prolonged snowfall on the back side of the storm on Thursday. We will try to provide more specific information later this afternoon."
